The Thunder Manufacturing Hi-Performance kit, known as the "Thunderstorm" has been developed by an association between Dave Rollins of Thunder Manufacturing and Tom Reali of Valley Kawasaki. The kit uses 10:1 custom milled aluminum pistons, high-performance valve springs, improved rings, and miscellaneous hardware required for installation. The included cams have been custom ground especially for this installation. Also, the cylinders are to be bored approximately .017 over to accommodate the high compression pistons.
